What is the title of your artwork?
I decided to title my art Dice on Fire because the dice are on fire. I also decided to call it that because if you read it without seeing the artwork you can still imagine what the artwork would look like. I really appreciate the fact that you can imagine my artwork without looking at it, but only at the title.
How do you think you used abstraction in your artwork?
I think I used abstract techniques in my artwork because my artwork is recognizable and I used cubism. My artwork is also abstract because I made the dice on fire when in real life it’s not. I think my art is abstract because it has a fantasy creature but is recognizable and I have musical notes for a background. I believe my artwork would be considered abstract.
What were some techniques you used in your artwork?
The techniques I used for Dice on Fire was cubism. I used cubism by creating geometric shapes like triangles, rectangles, and squares to design my artwork. I believe my artwork shows cubism because I used shapes and the shapes are mixing up my artwork.
How does your artwork show your personal style?
I showed my personal style by showing that I love music by using musical notes, I drew a fantasy creature because I like myths and legends. I also did my artwork very colorful because I don’t really like dull colors it usually represents the past or sadness, but bright or sharp colors represent happiness and joy.
