What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
I took notes in my ISN and I tried to remember some ways I can make my writing appealing and good. I also followed the instructions on the Writing Exam 2 handout and I reviewed the grading rubric. I made sure to have at least 5 paragraphs and took some tips about writing in class and in the handout. I made my writing eligible and wrote as much as I can for the exam to get a good grade and to raise my ELA grade.
This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
I have a great ELA score and I do not have any writing problems. I understand english so I do not have any problems pronouncing and spelling complicated words. I also understand the format of a five paragraph essay and I take all my notes in my ISN to make sure I know what to do. I also had to review the grading rubric a several times so that I can have a benefit of knowing what to do. I have to understand the prompt objectives and I have to write as eligible as I could.
I could have improved on this assignment by...
I could have improved on this writing exam by making my writing more descriptive not have stumbled when I was writing about the similes the girl uses to describe aging and why she used those similes. I also could have not made any spelling mistakes and made my claim more stronger. I could have studied more and could have an advantage of not stumbling on what a theme or genre is and what I have to do. I could also make my writing more interesting and attention seeking by making my hook really good.
How can I apply the skills I learned from this assignments in either the real world when I am an adult or in other classes while I am still a student?
If I am writing an essay in high school or next year I will be prepared and learn from my mistakes from my writing exams from 6th grade. I would write at least five paragraphs and make my essay great without spelling mistakes. I could maybe prepare for future exams from learning from this exam and make my writing very good. I could maybe use this writing exam to use what I learned to make a personal statement for a college.
